ALL THE WRONG REASONS ORCHESTRA - EXISTENTIAL OBSERVATIONS

ALL THE WRONG REASONS ORCHESTRA observes what happens when a place created to serve music gradually becomes a stage for personalities, ambitions and unresolved human conflicts.

Ego, status, rivalry, comparison, fear of judgement and the need to be seen occupy the same room. Every player may be performing the same score, yet each can be playing for an entirely different reason.

Part of EXISTENTIAL OBSERVATIONS and THE JOYS OF MUSIC EDUCATION — OLD SCHOOL SERIES, the work uses the orchestra as a concentrated social environment in which human behaviour becomes unusually visible.
