Golden Drift Gold Coast March 2026 Original Acrylic Landscape Painting on canvas

GOLDEN DRIFT began with a fleeting encounter with the Gold Coast landscape: warm light, grasses, distance and a moment during an ordinary journey that suddenly seemed to open into somewhere else.

The painting preserves that sensation through expressive, incomplete brushwork rather than resolving every element into description. Paths, vegetation and atmosphere drift between recognisable landscape and memory, allowing the original experience of the place to remain active on the surface.
