ALL INCLUSIVE | EXISTENTIAL OBSERVATIONS

ALL INCLUSIVE captures the return journey after abundance has done its work.

The holiday promise is simple: everything is available, everything is included, and choice appears endless. By the flight home, pleasure has accumulated into heaviness. Bodies surrender to sleep, consumption and the strange exhaustion that can follow having too much of everything.

Part of EXISTENTIAL OBSERVATIONS, the painting looks at overconsumption with humour and recognition. When everything is included, it can become surprisingly difficult to choose what to turn off.
